Let your child help cook supper with this wonderful autumn carrot recipe.
Here is a simple sweet recipe for children to cook. They will love making this recipe and I hope love eating it. It may become a fall favorite. Roasted Sweet Carrots Start with a 2 lb. bag of peeled baby carrots. Wash and drain them and pour them into a rimmed baking pan. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Stir in to coat the carrots 3 tablespoons of olive or virgin pecan oil. Roast in a 350 degree oven until tender, about 30 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. Add 1/4 cup maple syrup or1/4 cup of brown sugar. Stir lightly and serve warm. Also try a funny bunny pear salad recipe. This is a good time to teach your children the Brain Food Boogie. Great exercise--Great silly fun and a great tool for teaching the healthy feed-the-brain foods.
