Here is a simple sweet recipe for children to cook. They will love making this recipe and I hope love eating it. It may become a fall favorite.
Roasted Sweet Carrots Start with a 2 lb. bag of peeled baby carrots. Wash and drain them and pour them into a rimmed baking pan.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Stir in to coat the carrots 3 tablespoons of olive or virgin pecan oil.
Roast in a 350 degree oven until tender, about 30 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. Add 1/4 cup maple syrup or1/4 cup of brown sugar. Stir lightly and serve warm.
