Vacations often happen in watery places away from the heat --on the river, at the lake or the ocean. Here is how and what you might find of interest to collect this summer. Maybe a child is interested in sand and he wants to collect sand. Maybe, he is intrigued with sea shells, sea horses, or star fish. How about driftwood or sand dollars?
Kids love to collect stuff on vacation, but these things can be messy and smelly in the car, so this article tells how to preserve specimens, how to carry sand and shore stuff home in the family vehicle (without being kicked out of the family).
The article also points out that in some places collecting is prohibited. The artricle, Sea Shore Collections , then tells where to find these items for sale to collect. I hope children, whether traveling to the sea shore or playing along the creek, can find ways to use this article to start an interesting collection from the bounty of nature.
Happy Collecting!
