Hi there Friends,
I hope you are ready for an indoor project that can be accomplished in the schoolroom or the home environment. This recipe requires purchase of some easily obtainable and inexpensive ingredients. It requires the use of a microwave oven. Assembling the needed items is the hardest part though. The rest is simple!
Making Glycerin Soap is a simple recipe for homemade soap. The soaps make great gifts and the experience is good to teach a student how to follow directions, as a science project, or as the basis for a history lesson. Soap making was once a normal household chore. This activity would fit in well with a colonial days or pioneer history study.
It may also be an Acts of Kindness project if you are working with the children to teach them how to work to bless others. Consider making small soaps in a basket for a homeless shelter or women's shelter.
The possibilities are many for this fun project.
