Building a Scarecrow is a fun fall project that kids can take an active part in.

Hi Friends and Readers,

Welcome to Kids activities and welcome to fall! Are you looking for a project that involves non-scary fall fun? Why not build a scarecrow with the kids? Let them gather the materials, build, and dress their own scarecrow.

In my latest article, How to Build a Scarecrow, are ideas for a different style of scarecrow. Find ideas for a fall scarecrow building party. Kids will love it! Also, I include ideas for a scarecrow building competition. Kids can work individually or in groups, in the classroom or at home. Put up a scarecrow in the garden or in the front yard to celebrate cooler weather and changing seasons.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I delight in the colors of the leaves and in the cool wind so welcome after a hot summer. So break out the caramels and make some treats. Maybe popcorn balls or a tall glass of apple cider. isn't fall grand!

I hope you enjoy the project and the fresh autumn air!
